Description
- Radiant, an El Segundo-based startup developing portable nuclear microreactors, is seeking a Staff Data Platform Engineer to own and develop their internal data infrastructure.
- The engineer will build integrations and pipelines connecting various operational systems such as Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Recruiting into a unified data platform.
- Key responsibilities include configuring connectors, developing pipelines (e.g., Snowflake to Databricks to Ramp), writing dbt transformation models, ensuring data quality through testing and monitoring, supporting dashboards for different teams, and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
- The role requires experience with data warehouses (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift), ETL/ELT pipelines, API integrations, and data modeling.
- Preferred experience includes familiarity with hardware or hardtech companies, dbt, data quality frameworks, and supply chain systems like ION, SAP, or NetSuite.

Requirements
- 5+ years of data engineering or software engineering experience
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Experience with data warehouses such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
- ETL/ELT pipeline development experience with tools like Fivetran, Airbyte, Stitch, or custom pipelines
- API integration experience with REST and GraphQL
- Data modeling skills including dimensional modeling and schema design
