Description
- Checkr is building the data platform to power safe and fair decisions.
- As the Senior Accountant, you will report into the Senior Manager, Accounting and play a critical role in scaling processes and driving process improvements.
- You will help ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with US GAAP.
- Responsibilities include assisting with month-end close, evaluating accounting standards, overseeing process improvements, performing financial analysis, and managing audits.
- Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA preferred, 4+ years of experience (Big 4 experience a plus), and familiarity with Oracle Cloud, Alteryx, and close management software like FloQast.
- The role offers a fast-paced environment, learning allowances, competitive compensation, full medical/dental/vision coverage, up to $25K reimbursement for parental services, flexible PTO, and wellness stipends.
- Salary range (Denver, CO): $101,000 - $119,000 USD.
- The position is hybrid, with expectations to work from the office 2-3 days/week, with some locations offering perks like lunch, stipends, and snacks.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- CPA qualification is strongly preferred
- 4+ years of accounting-related work experience
- Experience with Oracle Cloud is a plus
- Knowledge of Alteryx is a plus
- Experience with close management software (preferably FloQast)
- Ability to work on and prioritize multiple projects
- Excellent organizational abilities
- Customer service orientation
- Attention to detail
- Strong written and oral communication skills
